Since 1919, we’ve tackled complex high-rise residential and commercial building projects across the U.S. As a family-owned and operated company, we manufacture and install stairs and railings for the nation’s leading architects, designers, construction managers and general contractors.

McGregor Stair Systems™ was born out of a desire to solve the challenges you face every day – delayed schedules, coordination issues, unsafe job sites, and more. We chose to do things differently, creating a revolutionary way of building tower stairs that’s transforming construction.

We handle every point of the production cycle in-house – from detailing to fabrication to installation – which means we can react to changes quickly, reduce costs and ensure precision every step of the way.
Leading with technology
While other manufacturers use CAD drawings to design your stairs, we don’t. We customized our BIM (Building Information Modeling) design process to use Tekla, which creates a true, virtual model of your project that can be integrated into the overall project model.
Easy installation
We deliver our stairs in bundles, which typically include two stairs, a landing, railings and embeds – requiring less iron workers and making installation a hassle-free process to save you time, money and aggravation.

We handle the entire production process in-house, from start to finish. Plus, you’ll always have direct access to our CEO & President, Bob McGregor, who is personally involved in each and every project.
Detailing
Our BIM experts create virtual models in-house using Tekla, leveraging the latest technologies to identify issues that CAD drawings miss.
Fabrication
We manufacture your steel stairs in-house at our Dunmore, P.A. plant using outputs from BIM into CNC machinery.
Installation
Your stairs are delivered by bundles and installed by McGregor iron workers, who are equipped with tablets so they can view the model in real-time.
